We need to stop sexualizing the act of barefooting. I say this as a man who gets a lot of footplay comms. Being barefoot in and of itself is not fetishistic. You can show feet without showing them off. There's a difference.

The fact they sexualized my original idea is disgusting, even a year later.

The fact that the only difference between these two is that Lucian is a human character and my OC is a furry speaks volumes of bias and unprofessional behavior on the Inkblot team. For even less than the fundraiser, a single artist drew what an entire team could not.

The original idea was the drawing on the left, recently drawn by the amazing GalacticXChick. The second idea is the one on the right.

Both characters are barefoot, with five-toed feet, in a standard pose. There is no fetish angle to these at all. Yet no one was 'comfortable' with drawing Lucian.

To which I informed them my idea was within guidelines, but I would submit a new idea anyway. So I did. That idea was accepted and drawn in just a few days. So what was the issue? Why was one idea not drawn?
