DC Cover of the day.

If you see this, post a DC cover you love.

(Love this one so much that I bought the actual comic back in the early 00s, and still have it in my collection!)

That's no moon...it's a massive Star Wars Unlimited Card.

And a normal-sized geek.

Cheers to @macreadymusings.bsky.social for taking the photo!

Had a great time at the Star Wars Unlimited: Legends of the Force event today. Met Alistair Petrie (General Draven in Rogue One and Andor), and could easily have spent the day chatting to him about our mutual, lifelong love of Star Wars!

It could always be worse too...this one's worth $1000 😱

Wonder Boy in Monster Land will always be really special to me: it's the first game I ever completed, on the first console I ever owned.

I first played it very briefly at the arcade, and became so obsessed with it that I requested a Master System for that Christmas, just so I could play it at home!

I really love this.

1993: my Uncle's friend lived next door to Doug Bradley; Pinhead in the Hellraiser movies. Never met him, but via my Uncle, I asked if he'd get me his autograph. Surprisingly, he did!

Doug signed one of his own cards for me; even drew a pin on it. Was so happy when I found the card again recently!

Quote post a Superman comic that came out the month you turned 15.

A surprisingly gory cover, though in fairness it was the 90s - and just about all comics were dead set on being 'mature' back then...

Well worth it! I don't think the box set is even that expensive, and each season has an absolute treasure trove of extras to explore. Just look at Season One alone; every season has a comparable list of extras included. Plus, it all looks stunning in HD!

Probably should have asked at least one of these guys about their thoughts on how things turned out, but I was too busy being a babbling, starstruck idiot in both cases!

There's a Gashapon shop in Brighton; rows upon rows of quirky capsule machines. It's awesome!

What video game will always transport you back to your childhood?

(Also the first game I ever completed!)

Remember multi-genre Konami NES game, The Adventures of Bayou Billy? Did you know there was a comic book tie-in series, published by Archie Comics?

I didn't, so when I found #1 & #3 at last week's Con, my curiosity got the better of me; I had to get them.

I doubt it's any good, but here they are:
