I'm personally keen to not introduce new names when the original work/are valid. Marek's paper (and Disparia) was out as a preprint since May and the question could go both ways. Solarion + Meteora as Caelestes work well imo. But, I'm fan of Promethea and I think both papers are awesome! One love 😁

When I've first seen the transformation under a microscope, the integration and disappearance of the flagellum, back then we had no idea what group of protists it could be, if it's even a eukaryote, it blew my mind. One can be seen in the Supplemental video 3. It keeps blowing my mind.

Right?! Thank you, i still don't feel like i even deserve to be a pi..but i do have amazing students and im grateful for them! one of them hopefully going to cesky krumlov for genomics this january!
