Crashing out unbelievably hard in response to this, mocking mental health for some reason, bringing up horseshoe theory l, and then blocking me really is the full Liberal experience in one go.
I just *described what happened*.
You mean the election where the liberals refused to work with the left, the left won the largest block anyway and now the liberals keep cycling through PMs instead of working with the left.

Yeah man, lessons certainly have been learned, just not the ones you think.

The graph here is actually mad. The rate of change in long established UK political orthodoxy is absolutely unreal. Going to be super interesting to see what the landscape is after May.

Hell yeah. Crush them.

It's really strange how rattled they are and what they think will work as a response.

"High on drugs and soft on Putin" sounds like an attack line generated by AI. This resonates with nobody.
Labour are low in the polls and hard on the country.

Fair play to whichever special advisor has written Keir a bit of a snarky line. Maybe Keir could take that energy to Trump on the warpath or the billionaire bosses ruining this country?

🚨 BREAKING 🚨
The UK Govt has quietly published - without announcement - the Joint Intelligence Committee/DEFRA report it suppressed last October. They tried to sneak it out in the midst of crisis. Read and share:

“Global Biodiversity Loss, Ecosystem Collapse & National Security.”

I am genuinely surprised by this, in a positive way. Given that our political and media class is all in on Astroturfing yank shagging, I was not expecting this kind of split.
Zack Polanski has said that Britain should expel US forces from the UK if the country seizes Greenland - a proposal 55% of Britons support

Support: 55%
Oppose: 22%

You're going to see Labour increasingly desperately lashing out at the Greens as this polling trend continues.

Having had a front seat to the psychotic way they try to deal with the SNP, Labour are going to get mental when it's Green/PC/SNP combined making them electorally irrelevant.
YouGov poll out today:

Reform 24 (-)
Labour 19 (-)
Tories 18 (-2)
Greens 17 (+3)
Lib Dems 14 (-2)

Changes on last week. 17% for Greens is the joint highest YouGov ever polled Greens.

The answer is very much no, they're not embarrassed somehow, but their screaming is getting increasingly high pitched.
Seriously now. Are the Starmer Ultras not fucking embarrassed? He's called a press conference - deliberately timed so Trump would be asleep - glazed him, confirmed he'll do nothing to retaliate and used the whole thing to attack Davey and Polanski and its not even landed

Starmer is such a worm it's actually incredible. Running to trump and throwing EU states under the bus in one graceful motion.
Misinformed?

It was an anti-US deployment! That was the entire point!

What does "clarification of the nature" even mean?

"Oh no sorry Mr Trump they're just in holiday, they like the snow"?

My favourite genre right now. Complete crackpots.
Why not both. Putin has lots of useful idiots. Polanski being one of them.
January 18, 2026 at 9:17 AM
Starmer deliberately put the UK in a position so compromised I am struggling to find a companion in modern history. He should never be allowed to recover from this.
Keir Starmer did everything he could to be US poodle and his strategy has ended in total humiliation. Both him and Farage are puppets of a hostile foreign nation.

It's obvious that if someone is a bully - you don't just keep appeasing them.

Disastrous strategy by Labour.
January 17, 2026 at 8:26 PM
Labour are so absolutely cooked on the domestic and international stage it's actually unbelievable.

Every choice Starmer could make, he chose the wrong one. Generational shit eating.

Stewart wholeheartedly supported brutal austerity measures that are estimated to have led to the deaths of a few hundred thousand people. When asked about austerity he still supports it.

This man is a complete fraud and a sociopath.

Oh god, it's starting. The most unelected man in Scottish politics is somehow, yet again, running for election.

These loser Dems are going to keep eating shit until they get it through their useless heads that you don't defeat fascists with decency and letters.

Literally Labour's position on UK May elections. No wonder him and Starmer love each other.

"Democracy is too expensive and time consuming".

Labour cranking up to unseen levels to try to evade accountability.
"Steve Reed said local elections were “time consuming and will take scarce resources away from frontline services like fixing potholes and social care”."
January 15, 2026 at 8:45 AM
Labour will straight up ignore this evidence as the people running Labour's entire project have built on the exact opposite conclusions. They cannot ever acknowledge this evidence for existential reasons.
Some 60% of those who voted UK Labour in 2024 in Wales plan to vote for Plaid Cymru or the Greens this year. Just 4% plan to vote Reform UK. It’s pretty clear how effective pandering to the far has been as a strategy.
This poll projects as:

🐍 Reform UK - 23
🌳 Greens- 11
🥀 UK Labour - 10
😵 Tories - 7
🔶 LibDems - 1
