There was actually guidance to this effect (knives) pre 2010 under labour as I referenced it in an exclusion appeal. It disappeared under the coalition.
The Conservatives would introduce a legal 'presumption' that pupils who bring knives to school or assault their classmates or staff be permanently excluded, the shadow education secretary has said

Conservatives want exclusion presumption for violent pupils
Shadow education secretary also sets out plans to make alternative provision 'independent' of councils

Horrified by the attack on a synagogue in Manchester.
My heart goes out to the families those killed & who’ve been affected.

I know #granddesigns follows a formula but it’s still painful watching novice project managers wondering why no one pointed stuff out to them

This is of concern. Important to check what security measures online providers have when you hand them data to process on your behalf
Exclusive: The names, addresses, phone, national insurance and passport numbers of school staff members may have been 'compromised' in a cyber attack on the IT provider of a firm that maintains background check records for schools

School staff data potentially 'compromised' in cyber attack
Data breach reported by IT firm Intradev may have affected data held by School Central Record

Fake or Fortune revisit was an eye opener. The buyer turned down a £300k offer from a major collector 🙄

One of my projects this month was to get our office into a new location.
Double win on the commute.
1. New office is about 8 minutes nearer the station.
2. I qualify for an age related Oyster card which will halve my costs.
Not every week you get a fine & money win! 🤣

"The Radicalisation Spiral"

Why are so many people becoming radicalised? Is there any way to stop it?

With an antivaxxer running the US health dept + extreme discourse dominating politics it's an increasingly pressing question.
