Some footage I shot this summer in Kharkiv which was under constant attack by Russia. It still is. No Patriot systems to protect this beautiful city and its people. There are little bits of broken glass everywhere from the bombings as people try to live their lives under next level air sirens. 🇺🇦

The time I hired a backing band that I’d met on the subway a few hours earlier. A cellphone started ringing during one tune and the guy playing accordion stopped to answer it. The audience thought it was part of the act.
