So, of course, I’m asking the DVSA directly how this happens especially as you have to put your driving licence number as well as theory test number on their app. It’s not on, it puts others at a disadvantage and is driven by greed, obviously. #DVSA #UKdrivingtests

@halfironmum.bsky.social I finally got out and swam, no time limits, no crowds, free parking, friendly, peaceful and calming… 75 minutes of bliss.. 2 miles down the road and didn’t even know it exists 😵💫 my goodness it’s sensory heaven compared to swimming pools, hope it helps #autisticburnout #AuDHD

I’d like to see #Gambleaware shut down (or Gamble-away a fond nickname) when looking at their roots on set up, these past names, when the gambling act 2005 was being looked at they had to bring in the DCMS to look more independent from industry. They have pushed the blame narrative & still do #greed

Ah thank you, yes it’s pretty devastating so far, no end in sight, can’t start trauma work, so close to post dx too, I do think part of the problem for people of any age is no support post dx. You are mostly left foraging about trying to figure it all out. Especially dual dx #auDHD. Ordered book 🥰

I was recommended this one by clinical psych at CMHRS… I’m finding it great but hard as I’m burnt out sigh 😬 I’ll order the new one soon thank you 🥰 that launched recently, especially as I’m heading back on waiting list for trauma work as she’s leaving so all we’ve done is talk about burnout sigh

I’m delighted to say we found a pan very similar to one my Nan used some 50 years ago which I still remember today, I had perfect poached eggs yesterday. Compared to my usual sloppy mess in a pan of water.. 😍 easier to clean too. Just water in the bottom of the pan.

Yes, these aren’t bookies they’re adult gaming centres or casinos. The town I visited this weekend is a military one, not large at all…so on top of bookies we have these beasts. In fact the bookies I saw had 1 person in it… I assume the mobility scooter is theirs 👀

What you see on the outside is not what you get on the inside. This is a town that was once bustling. Open 24/7… entertainment? All under a bingo licence. Which is one tiny machine lost in a sea of slots.

Let’s hope they don’t think slot companies opening up and taking over towns is a good thing, it’s disgusting how gambling firms trash some towns. Blair deregulated gambling and now it’s a mess. Interesting that the white paper has gathered dust for years but those with disabilities!! Rinse them

IBAS directing people to the #gambling commission, who don’t deal with the issue, then tell you to take your complaint to the operator-this is absolutely daft, this page is daft. People are left with no where to turn and probably give up unless they want to pay legal fees. We do need an #ombudsman

I had mine “vacuumed” for the same price but glad I did as I couldn’t hear in one ear, he found I had glue ear and if my GP had gone the syringe route it could have ended up worse. Funnily enough this finally came out of said ear last night, it was put in on 22/02/23 🤭 a grommet 😳
