Weird typo, massive portion of NHS data merged in…

And like 89k have MRI, 100k have accelerometer for 2 weeks, there are 40k spouse pairs, 22k sib pairs, all are genotyped, massive opportuun of NHS data merged in etc etc… it’s really quite rich but you gotta mind selection bias. Bot into the study and into various follow ups.

So like 50-85 now (with some attrition at the older end)

Exactly, ADHD certainly relates to participation and follow up, but I don’t know how well that’s been characterized in this generation. There are really good ASD and ADHD GWAS with minimal bias, those can be used to study dropout/participation in UKB.

Part of me wonders what would happen in Mamdani just started calling Trump weekly, inviting him over to NY, just spend 3 years soothing him, maybe even design some “new trump tower” mockups (to never be built)… he can’t he has shit to do, but as a counterfactual it’s fascinating…

Now I want to feed a few LLMs this query, and the results right up to ‘author: “‘ and get the logits for all possible next tokens of the next few tokens, build a little ranking…

So there is obviously attrition (having 160k responses from the 500k baseline participants) but not that much attrition since other recent online follow ups which came in at about 169k, 180k and 190k. Clearly needs some carefull weighing/analysis to figure out consequences.

Is this preprinted or still being written up??

I hoping I am sellig before the dip and Ill take my "loss" if the madness continues unabated and all these data centres are 1. actually build and 2. fully used...

also we have very different optimal payout dates (college vs retirement) which are 15ish years apart. I can better absorb more "kurtosis" in the next 10 years? That reallt might be irrational believe hough?

I have also adjusted my own positions, but those are in ETFs/Stock I rebalance/eval quarterly. The kids were in a "dont think about it" fund, which has been great. Now I though about it, and decided the easiest "dont think about it" way to de-risk was move half to savings/treasuries
November 18, 2025 at 2:00 PM
This was my thinking, beter give up a little under half the gains for the next 1-2 years and reduce the impact of a 2007 style slide by 50%... I can get back in when things have christalized.
November 18, 2025 at 1:39 PM
Ha, no I was thinking more like Dutch treasuries or municipal bonds or maybe even just a 1 year savings deposit for like 2%.. I want to reduce risk not gamble 😅
