I've seen a child with tetanus, I've treated near fatal infections after chicken pox, and I've pronounced children dead from COVID whose parents refused to have them vaccinated.

We have lost our minds... and are about to lose so many of our precious children.

15 House Dems just voted for HR 9495, which would give Trump power to name any advocacy group or nonprofit as “terrorist affiliated" with no due process.

Senate Dems must not let this attack on free speech come up for a vote during the lame-duck.

If it does, they must vote NO.

Attacking civili society is a hallmark of authoritarian regimes — and the House, including some Democrats, just gave Trump the power to do it.

Gaetz' backing out of the running for AG is a big sign that even in this new Trump era, your voice matters. When you see injustice or corruption, do not let anyone silence you. Get loud. Make noise. We won't win every battle, or even most, but you won't win any at all if you don't try.

The House is scheduled to vote tomorrow (Thursday) so call your member of Congress today!
HR 9495 provides no due process or oversight, creating a tool for political retaliation under the guise of "fighting terrorism."

Trump would abuse this power to retaliate against any org that challenges his agenda.

The 52 Dems who initially supported it must reverse course.

This bill would allow the Treasury Secretary to label organizations as “terrorist-affiliated” without due process—a direct threat to the charities, advocacy groups, and nonprofits that fight for justice, defend civil rights and support marginalized communities. 2/3

Indeed. When they rounded up the Japanese Americans, myself and my family included, for internment during WWII out of fear over Japanese spies and saboteurs, two thirds of us were U.S. citizens.

Don’t think it won’t happen again when they come for the “undocumented.”
