I listened to it and loved all of it.I love your story about Nat and laughing with him. I once worked with a boy who laughed and laughed, and i asked “what’s so funny?“? And then taught him to answer “I have a joke in my head” which he loved and that started so many of his kind of conversations:)

Actually, it’s their parents for buying them smart phones. They don’t have to do that if they need a phone call home and get them a flip phone that doesn’t have Internet access.

You don’t need a smart phone to make a phone call. Kids don’t need $900 phones. If they need a phone for safety to give them a flip phone.

I feel like I’ve aged 10 years since November. Trying to enjoy the spring and deeply resenting that I’m not enjoying it. What’s actually keeping me going? Is my Canadian passport and the possibility that I could move there if I wanted to. I want to stay and fight though, but a Plan B is good.

And it doesnt matter if autistic people cant pay taxes and work, they are all worthy and deserve good lives.

27% of people with autism are proundly autistic and require 24 hour care,always will. Most cannot work more than a few hours if at all. Very different from those who have careers, homes, families,cars. Not to say you don’t have issues, but it’s not the same.They will never pay taxes nor should they.
