Especially as they are all powerscaled by the egos and wallets of their parent companies. You can just feel the donation wealth gap between each liscense holder as everyone lays the same number of hits in each fight to look equally strong, with screentime divided up by the dollar.

It no longer feels like a storyline finale to Fortnite, like a cute way to progress the plot, a major event to expand the games scope, just a giant advertisement for capitalism. This is the type of thing not remembered as a fond memory for today’s games, but as a warning in tomorrows textbooks

I’m very firmly of the belief that Fortnite is strong enough of both a game and a brand that many of its ip collaborators need it more than Fortnite needs them. It’s deeply saddening how what could have been a thoughtful end to this bizarre chapter of Fortnite is just an advert for every property
