OK, you must realize this sounds somewhat suspicious

A lot depends on external factors, for the moment. Getting the cover art done, putting the final polish on the editing, figuring out how to promote it (which is a thing I've never been good at), etc.

As with all things, that's a work in progress ;)

But it's a safe assumption to make

edits and editions often go in a separate notebook with annotations

the 1 time I wrote things out of timeline order, I ended up needing two cross reference documents to keep track of which page of the notebook a scene was on and which chapter number it became

I try to keep things in order

I also draft things in a notebook first, so it helps if I keep things in a reasonable sense of schedule

Some of my books (see📌) also have strict time/date-keeping inherent to the structure

I'll imagine and hold scenes in mind ahead of time, but write later

He's just under 6ft, lots of outdoor work so reasonably built, keeps his hair short, attempting a moustache (failing, shaves halfway through)

She's half a foot shorter, stays fit for cheerleading, blonde hair down to the nape but neglects hair treatments, so an inch or two of brown roots showing

He doesn't have a lot of friends, though he gets along

Most of her friends think he's a hopeless weirdo and wonder why she bothers

Small town high school, so there's not a lot of other options for socializing
