Congratulations America on your choice for Secretary of Defense!
We had an impressive 248-year run as a republic, sometimes good, sometimes appalling, but despite our errors, this nation nearly matured into a true democracy.
Unfortunately as of 1/20/2025 our dear republic will become an oligarchy, unless we challenge it.
