Yup, that is my view, though maybe 'depicted' is now confusing: I'd use, say, 'painted'. (And painted Fs really exist, of course, even if they're not real Fs.)

Really depressing. I don't think it's so bad in the UK, but it's not great, and there seems to be a systematic determination by medics here not to let a diagnosis of Long Covid stand, and to rediagnose people as suffering from some already recognised, and generally ignored, other condition.

In the UK there seems a pretty clear determination not to let Long Covid diagnoses stand: people get pushed into one or another antecedently acknowledged condition: ME/CFS, Fibromyalgia, etc..

This is absolutely terrible, but sadly not uncommon around Long Covid. Mind you, there is someone not far from you that I've heard on a podcast and was v impressed by. I don't know if you can get to see him:

I must say, I thought that was the normal English spelling, which only went once word-processing programs came in, but I'm not sure I have any evidence of that.

(I think the corresponding ordinary English word is just 'roll'.)
