Good to be back in touch. My life has been crazy but in a good way. After 4 years of searching we found the perfect home in Olympia, WA. Made the move a month ago. Still surrounded by boxes but so happy to be here. The view from kitchen window-

The first time I ate the lemon version was at the original The Original Pancake House in Portland Oregon when I moved there in 1985. It was the first one, opened in 1953. I’ve never been able to get mine to puff as high as theirs. This was the first one in our new home in Olympia, Washington.

It just came back on and then went off again after 20 minutes. We all still had our backpacking headlamps close at hand.

That was quite a storm. We’ve been in our new home in Olympia for 3 weeks and we are still in the process of unpacking. Going on 24 hours without power. Quite a challenge with boxes all over the house.

We had a 6 hour drive with 6 cats. 2 of them were adopted 6 years ago & the other 4 were stray kittens we rescued from our yard a year ago. 1 of the elder cats & 2 of the younger adapted right away. The other 3 took about 5 days to adjust. Now they all love the new place. Hope your move goes well.
