I don’t know about where you are but in my town there are empty seats on the town Democratic Committee. One can be involved in the process of selecting candidates long before the primaries. But it takes real work: knocking on doors, phone banks , showing up. Time to get to work!

Who gains from rising housing prices? Not anyone who doesn’t own a house but wants one. Not someone who has a house they want to continue living in. The only winners here would be those who own houses they don’t live in. Should be clear whose side Trump is on!

Impeachment only brings it to a trial in the Senate. No point in trying to impeach without enough votes in the Senate to convict. If we really want to see that happen then let’s elect enough representatives and senators to pull it off.

I took the New York hunter safety class. If everyone who ever touched a firearm just followed the existing rules none of these tragedies would happen. Mandatory safety classes before purchase would be a good place to start if we really want people to be safe. Just a start, not the whole solution.

This President doesn’t know anything about Article 1 or any other part of the Constitution because he’s never read it. Couldn’t read it if he wanted to.

We went to a thrift store and got a toddler size sweater that fit our beagle perfectly. She would only let us put it on her when it was below 15f outside.

They not conservative. Conservatives value tradition and are slow to abandon what is proven to be good. These people who call themselves conservatives are something else. Perhaps Reactionary is a better word for what they are. Conservatives would not abandon the rule of law or constitution.

I think you’re right about that. Once a great nation is destroyed it’s hard to restore it. Think of Argentina that once had the same promise to equal the USA.

The total fees for my first semester at San Jose State College(now university) in 1970 was $78.00. I don’t blame the students who can’t get out from under this unfair debt. I am so angry at the politicians and officials who made education unaffordable.

Too many people my age forgot that we weren’t burdened by years of student loan debt because in the 60s and early 70s a good summer job could cover tuition at most schools. The cost of education is a grave injustice. It’s wrong!

My wife’s cousin who is a farmer tells me most agricultural land is in corporate hands already. Driving across South Dakota I noticed very few farm houses and lot of big tractor barns. Corporate employees commute to farm jobs from elsewhere. Who benefits from this?
