Tree is up. We won’t put ornaments on it for a little while yet, but it’s beginning to look like Christmas.

You just died.

The 6th picture in your phone gallery is what killed you.

Done in by the world’s tamest leaf pile. 🙁

Record Store Day at the coffee shop record store. I guess I needed a disc with 8 different versions of "Take On Me" on it.

And Vince Guaraldi Peanuts. Always.

Next on the book pile.

It's over 700 pages, so I'm not going to get through it by Christmas. I need to decide if I'm going to carry it into January, but I'm leaning towards just stopping at the end of December and finishing it next Christmas.

I don't know if I need a disc with 8 different versions of "Take On Me" on it, but I might need a disc with 8 different versions of "Take On Me" on it.

Persephone's Curse by Katrina Leno sounds good, too. Four sisters "have a ghost in the attic of their Manhattan brownstone —a kind and gentle ghost named Henry, who only they can see." One of them falls in love with him; another banishes him to the underworld.

Cape Fever by Nadia Davids sounds cool. Coming out next month.

"A gothic psychological thriller set in the 1920s, where a young maid finds herself entangled with the spirits of a decaying manor and the secrets of its enigmatic owner."

"Name a film from the 60's that deserves more recognition."

The Curse of the Crying Woman (1963) is a '60s AIP English dub of a Mexican film, but it feels like a '40s Universal flick. Great atmosphere, sets, and makeup with a cool plot that's more or less The Wolf Man with witches.
