yeah it’s been a long couple of days and it’s easy to get caught up in everything, but today is National Black Cat Day and the fourth anniversary of getting Kyoshi and all she wants to do is bury her head in my hand and sleep. maybe I’ll sit here in the silence with her and share this moment.

Squidward’s “Bold and Brash” painted onto a pumpkin, but with a Black Death plague doctor’s bird mask over Squidward’s face and nose. The original “Bold and Brash” is an expressive and slightly distorted portrait of Squidward, a blue-ish green squid, from SpongeBob SquarePants. It features Squidward’s body almost hunched over to the left, with his arms at his sides and legs spread in to a wide stance. His skin tone is muted to a soft and earthy blue-green tone, with the pads of his tentacles shifting to a purple-ish blue. Even with expressive brush strokes and an abstract design, it does belong in the trash.
