Following up, it looks like movement is being made for me to actually meet with Platner. Should it happen, I'll keep folks posted and definitely come with questions and concerns. I'll hold off on an official follow-up piece until then.

Week was good. Holding my own. Saw some former students and it looks like they're all doing well. I'm struggling a bit with missing my comfort zone---starting a new job is tough, even if it's been several weeks now. I'm not sure what will help other than time.
