Going vegan is only one action of a multitude that we must take. Just like everyone needs to decarbonize their transportation and power.

Yes, voice and actions go together. Though those with power and influence have little interest in listening and making changes. The majority of people believe in CC and we just need them to start changing. Going vegan has no barrier and can be done today as long as a person is willling to.

I do believe civil rights activist Grace Lee Boggs was right by saying the change must start from the bottom. The collective of individuals can reflect the future that we desire which can create the systems needed. Those at the top are only going to change as far as they are still benefitting.

All this is a bit extreme and insignificant in the bigger picture as long as others aren't making personal changes. But, it's clear our lifestyles must change if we are to have a livable future. The IPCC AR6 WG3 Chapter 5 points this out. Though it appears few are making changes anywhere close to it

Yes, I act. I made significant changes to my lifestyle many years ago. I went vegan nearly 33 yrs ago, committed to not flying in 2012, have lived 9.5 yrs in Idaho in a van without running water, toilet, heating/cooling. I buy all my stuff from thrift stores. It's about acting like I GAF about CC.

Yes, I act. I made significant changes to my lifestyle many years ago. I went vegan nearly 33 yrs ago, committed to not flying in 2012, have lived 9.5 yrs in Idaho in a van without running water, toilet, heating/cooling. I buy all my stuff from thrift stores. It's about acting like I GAF about CC.

I haven't heard of the show and just looked it up. So, it's a propaganda drama of the oil industry starring some well known actors. I am a bit disappointed they would star in such a show.
The renewable industry needs to work at making themselves more visible to the public.

It's great to see the UK have a renewable trade agency to advocate for their industry. Do you know if there is one in the US? The US public needs information like this to better understand the capability of renewables?

It's quite clear that corporations, politicians and others protecting their wealth and power are not going to work at ending fossil fuels.
