I don’t want to yuk on the extra track as I’m sure it’s many people’s yum, but it’s always felt to me like a B side. Which I think is how I originally heard it!

My favourite along with “Emissary”. I’ll never forget watching it for the first time. So much incident, yet it didn’t feel at all rushed, & parts of it were so beautiful visually & musically, almost like a film! And when it ended, I looked at the time in disbelief - it can’t have ended already!

Thank you! ☺️ I didn’t really have anything to say, except that it’s such a funny episode! I think, of all the other shows, probably only SNW (& Lower Decks, of course!) has tried to do pure comedy episodes to the extent that DS9 did. Humour is all over Star Trek, but DS9 went all the way with it! 🖖🏼💜

(9/9) And Quark gently patting Rom’s head when it’s all over. He loves his brother! 🥰 #StarTrekDS9

(6/9) #StarTrek has had countless amazing guest actors, so I don’t think I could pick Iggy Pop as my favourite. But he’s certainly one of the most entertaining! Unfortunately, this was the only GIF I could find of him as Yelgrun. #StarTrekDS9

(5/9) So much of the comedy is purely physical! #StarTrekDS9

(3/9) A frustrated Nog trying to train his companions as soldiers. 😂 #StarTrekDS9

(2/9) Sisko’s wonderfully understated, utterly calm reaction to Quark & Rom mistakenly crawling into his office. “Er… we must have taken a wrong turn.” #StarTrekDS9

I always think of it as 10 tracks, as I had the original vinyl release first. And tbh, I still prefer it that way. More symmetrical, & I don’t think it needs anything after the beautiful close of This Woman’s Work!

Yes, I was thinking how I haven’t listened to his music in a long while, & this album is my favourite of his. It used to be Pink Moon, but that one’s quite stark - I love the strings & brass on this album!
