With this rewatch of Serenity I’ve realized that it’s one of those films like Tremors and Silverado in that the characters are so fun to be around it’s like visiting old friends. It’s a film I can throw on anytime and just hang out and enjoy. It’s a huge favorite of mine.

Fourth time I have watched Love and Monsters and I still enjoy this adventurous monster flick. Even though the film stands on its own, I’d still love to see a sequel to this. It has fun characters, awesome monsters and it’s a great time.

My daughter recently got me to watch KPop Demon Hunters & glad she did!  It’s a good story with heart, fun characters and catchy songs. My favorite songs are “What It Sounds Like” followed by “Golden”.   My daughter has already watched it a few times & obsessively replaying the album.  She’s hooked!

Just saw Jurassic World: Rebirth and I came out pleasantly surprised how enjoyable it was. Really liked the premise, characters solid, and overall just highly enjoyable. The dino CGI could have been a bit better but this is likely my #2 in the Jurassic Park/World film series.

Going into 28 Years Later I was hyped how this would start as the prior two films had fantastic beginnings.  Well it didn’t live up to the first two, but like the film itself, it was fine. It’s intense, has a great cast, but it’s also flawed. Despite that I’m still looking forward to the next one!

Watched Conclave & it’s an engaging well written mystery with fantastic performances. The film benefits from Volker Bertelmann's score with dramatic strings & Stéphane Fontaine's outstanding cinematography. The ending can be controversial but regardless Conclave fantastic. 👍🏻

Paddington in Peru is good, but Paul King’s creative touch and Sally Hawkins charm was sorely missed. Olivia Coleman is a lot of fun though, and spending some time with Paddington and the Browns still makes for an enjoyable time in the theater. 🐻

This year’s Valentine’s Day film is Letters to Juliet. It’s a wonderful story that takes the viewer through the romantic sceneries of Verona and Tuscany in search of lost love. I’ve watched this a couple times now and have always enjoyed it. 👍🏻❤️

It’s good to get an explanation as to why I prefer watching films with subtitles on instead of being worried I was just going deaf. Very interesting!

Watched “The Fall Guy” which was fun, Emily Blunt & Ryan Gosling were great and there are plenty of cool stunts.

But let’s get right to it, I so loved how they used the song “I Was Made For Lovin’ You” by KISS throughout the film & even included different versions. So good!

35 years ago my best friend and I stopped at a theater to check out a film, Tremors. It was so much fun we watched the film in the theater a few more times and has become an all time favorite. Love this film!
A ★★★★★ review of Tremors (1990)
This modern day B-Movie monster flick is the horror film which I’ve seen the most times in a theater because it was so much fun. The characters are fantastic, the story is fun with plenty of setups an...
