His history of Judaism and the concept of Sin are sweet though. A once highly specific God of rain and abundant joy and courage for a desert tribe soured on itself in famines… and instead of aiming for a new God who wanted to help them, they held onto that God as *rightly* hating them.

Anti-Christ sounds so good in theory, like something he was working up to (toward pop-appeal?) But it feels so insincere. I don’t believe he despises pity as much as he says he does. It is itself a pity too, because he could have made a truer replacement for Christianity if he were deeper here.
