I enjoyed getting to walk the land with you and Dirk. I only wish we had gotten to do that under better circumstances.

We were putting sensors in the stream. C and N.

There were a few. The fire really ripped through a good bit of that area.

Here’s the truth. The current leadership on the Sierra National Forest did not cause these conditions. But, they chose not to do anything about them. Our forests cannot afford that type of ‘leadership’.

A little bit of hope. Mostly where topography and big tree raking by Marc Meyer allowed for survival.
