So my kid is 11 and some kids her age were taught that way but not really most. She went to Montessori and it's 1 million percent phonetic. Like I didn't tell her letter names as a baby or toddler, only their sounds. Entire games building phonetic awareness 'i spy something that starts with buh'.

The Republicans forced target to abandon dei. At that point either target keeps making money thus 'proving them right' that dei was a waste of money or we boycott because morally opposed to this backsliding which also helps prove the point that diversity in business makes money

But then that wrecks their case. That 'proves' dei was wasting money and diversity in business is a money loser and steals from shareholders.

It looks like they are suing saying Diversity measures made the conservative backlash in 2023 cause them to lose money. Doesn't this boycott then help Target's case? Because now they are losing more money without the DEI

So the shareholders are forcing the company to do things that will tank sales and crater stock price. Seems dumb. They should stop doing that.

Oh no. The message is "don't flinch when a bully forces you to stand aside so he can beat up on your friends". If they came out with an apology and way forward then it would be one thing. But they haven't. All I've seen is they plan on making people smile more.
