Yes, but unlike the average federal worker, you will collect back-pay when the shutdown ends if your check is withheld now. It’s a nice thought to go without pay in solidarity, but there will be a paycheck waiting for you whenever this ends. So it’s just performative and is an empty gesture.

We need to get all of the white supremacists out of Congress and the government. There is no room in this country for such hate.
