As someone who back in my UK Customs international trade days used to deal with Tariff classification enquires and rulings. For NZ Trumps move would make NZ products less attractive but to highlight Trumps ignorance, only if the dollar exchange rate works in NZ favour. Which I doubt in this case.

Brad Olsen is by his own admission employed by National ( his last appearence on the working group) so anything is says is questionable.

In the UK they do if its processed, exceptions raw product , ie fresh foods will be zero rated. Or that was the case up until 2006 when I left the UK

If true thats putting the fox in charge of the Hen house and highlights Seymours extremely poor judgement along with Snap chatting older kids, Beer Pong sessions with students. He doesnt do himself any favours. And when he snaps he just exposes his weakness.
