Writing hobo yelling at you on the side of the net. Will be interesting for clout. Pro trans rights. Anti kink shaming (even if you find them creepy) She/They
Most rich people wouldn't give me a free cookie for being audhd and im probably more savvy then half the blithering morons they gave a million dollars to as an 'investment'

Absolutely fascinating how the modern era is this sprint between leftism and fascism to fill the void as the old system collapses and fascism thought they won the culture and pivoted to violence too early and that supercharged leftism's relevance.

Either way I see this as just lightening her work load and fully expect her to continue being an annoying pain in America's collective ass.

It remains to be seen if she just wants to coast and be a lazy influencer again or she is retreating temporarily in the weird project people are making to try to position themselves as the next trump trying to separate themselves now without outright opposing him now as he melts.

I think she's made the calculation that she's gotten all she can clout and money wise out of being a part of the government and is getting out of dodge of the death threats now for not being sufficiently loyal and later if trump's regime collapses she will be further from the fallout.

I brainstorm for years using music playlists then improv then lazily revise.

I find that most normies who have opinions on how I should conduct myself as an underperforming adhdite writer source their idea of what a writer is from Stephen King, a man who at his peak was creatively fueled primarily by cocaine.

It was saying something earnest or just posting the 'sickos' window meme. Still debating the wisdom of my choice.

The price you pay for never ending storytelling written by never ending people. Kinda why superhero comics remain niche even as the characters they make get huge.

Long term collaborative storytelling collapses easily if you can't like a character that has ever been mishandled, and it collapses even faster if you expect moral consistency. We dont get morally simple people and powerful characters always having consequences for their actions if theirs no endings

I live for how little time it took for MCU storytelling to collapse into the convoluted 'book it on the fly' improv of comic books and pro wrestling, that said whenever anyone hyper focuses on her as a uniquely flawed character i am just so used to every comic character I like having terrible arcs.

Video game plots are not immune to this. Many of the saints row games, cyberpunk, and plenty of RPGs where you have a customizable character as the player character have proven that character can still have a damn good arc. So your blank slate shonen protag is not solving a problem by being boring.

The end result of that is wasted time characterizing and telling the story of a character that you would probably make the story better if you excised entirely. If you can't give a character an arc as good as the best character you have you shouldn't make them the protagonist.
November 19, 2025 at 10:52 PM
You are perfectly capable of making a character study plot while allowing the fucked up cool interesting mess of a character you are studying still be the protagonist but far too many stories create a character to be the 'observer' of the real interesting character or characters as the protagonist.

The assumption that the audience is incapable of empathizing with someone different from them has led to either 'fantasy hero' or 'fantasy anti hero' being your main character and then all the actual nuance and exploration is everywhere else.
