‪First study of pig behaviour and potential welfare hazards in assembly barns presented yesterday at #ISAE2025 by Karen Thodberg. Thank you to everybody involved in this large project, especially to Cecilie Kobek-Kjeldager for taking the lead on assembly barns - papers are on the way. @au.dk

Very interesting Friday afternoon listening to the PhD defense of Jesse Kevin Ndung'u Thuo from @ucph.bsky.social, evaluating the naked mole rat as an #AnimalModel for chronic inflammatory pain, supervised by Klas Abelson, Titus I. Kanui and Philemon K. Towett. Congrats to Jesse and supervisors!
