maruki has a lot of beatoisms esp in the nature of his palace and how he exists within it but one of my fav beatoisms is how him revealing himself for the first time in his palace feels very reminiscent of beatrice finally showing herself in front of the portrait at the end of ep1

very embarrassing grappling with the fact that maybe the most personally resonant thing ive experienced this year originates in p5, not even mentioning the fact that this has also been deeply important to my own trans journey and being at peace w my transmasculinity. considering the track record.
