And yet another Gnollvember image, likely the last in this month. The gnoll huntress returns searching for more prey! I should really give her a name at this point, I guess, but I haven't come up with one yet~

Some more gnolls to celebrate the Gnollvember! This time, it's for Day 16: Portal. Just a couple of random characters that aren't taking their guard duty too serious :D

The gnoll in the right is standing, holding a spear in their right hand, and the gnoll in the left is sitting on the steps to the portal, holding some kind of sandvich in their hands, their spear lying on the stones to the side of him. Both gnolls are wearing blue tunics, and with the right one, it's visible that their tunic is belted with a large pale belt. The gnolls look different in their appearance: the right one looks more like a spotted hyena, and his fur is more of a brown-ish red, while the left one looks more like a striped one, and his fur is colored sandy brown. The portal's shape resembles head of a hyena (or perhaps a gnoll), with entrance located in its open mouth. The entrance glows green, and this glow forms abstract patterns in the depth of the portal. There are two large green gemstones at the place of portal hyena's eyes, and the rest of portal is made of the same stones as the wall it belongs to. The stones vary in color, with some having a hint of the green in their tone and some having a hint of red. There are more red-ish stones than the green-ish ones in the portal hyena's head, and with the wall, it's the exact opposite of that.

Back in 2023, there had to be a couple of gnolls covering with an umbrella for the Rain entry, but I've never actually did neither umbrella nor the rain. For now, the rain's HEAVY, but the umbrella's still missing, much to disdain for one of these gnolls.

"Savage, brutal, nasty etc." isn't kinda my favorite vibe, so I've been reluctant about posting that one! But it's still very gnoll-ish, so I guess it somehow belongs here. Just the other side of living in the nature — the grim dark one.

I've actually thought that I've progressed enough to get sketches finished. Turns out I've only learned how to make unfinished sketches more complex so far! :D

There's little of a fight in here, though, but maybe they're just preparing to start one!

The painting features three gnolls (a hyena-like humanoids), one of which stands in the front with the other two standing behind her back. The gnoll in the front is the only one painted in colors, the other two depicted through greyscale sketches. The gnoll in the front is smiling enthusiastically, her eyes widened in anticipation and her eyebrows raised. She makes a pointing forward gesture with the right hand, holding her weapon, a small flail, with the other one. She wears a crude leather armor consisting of skins kept together with stitches and a couple of belts. She only has one leather shoulderplate covering her right shoulder. The whole armor is toned with the different shades of brown, and the gnoll's own fur is toned with greenish shades of grey. Right behind her and to the right (as of the viewer) crouches one of two greyscale-painted gnolls. This one wears a dark hood which is raised slightly in two points where her ears are supposed to be. Little else can be said of her outfit, but at least she seem to have both of her shoulderplates, and she is armed with a pair of claw-like katars. There's a slyish grin on her face. Right behind the gnoll in the front and slightly to the left of the picture stands the third gnoll. She seem taller than the other two. In her right hand, she holds a crossbow, and with her left hand, she proceeds to make a gesture that is meant to load the crossbow. She looks concerned, looking at her weapon with a scowl. We can hardly see her silhouette as she stands right before the other gnoll's back, so the only thing visible of her outfit is her head bandage holding her mane laid back. Yet another gnoll image for this year's Gnollvember! Choosing an african wild dog as a base for the gnoll might be quite unorthodox, but I think it works nice here. Nothing special this time, just a single cookie chomp!

His eyes are blue, and he has a very long mane of the same orange tone. He wears a very loose dark shirt. The gnoll smiles and bites a small cookie, half of it already being chewed and the other half is being held in his right palm (also toned pale beige). There's a small fragment of a background tying together the bust and the right hand into a single block. The fragment is green and features several spirals of a lighter green tone.

I didn't mean to take so much time with the second picture, but then I got with all these plants. And this work is not quite finished as you see, but at some point I just had to stop and remind myself that Day 2 has ended twenty five hours ago already.

As she's grinning, it's easy to notice that her upper fangs are made of some golden material. Her arms and chest are covered with stripes of linen, and her legs and waist are covered with a large piece of cloth held with the belt. She wears a headdress that slightly resembles the crowns of Egypt. There's a simple background only covering the area in between of her arms and the lower edge of the picture.
