on Durice the structures are said to have been built with the cave in mind but sealed in by the ice. And on Aurus island the whole isle is covered in a massive structure called the Ruins of Remembrance which are said to span the entire island.

Found all over the isles are ancient ruins, its been noted the original structures purposes are hard to find. The undersea ruin is said to be an altar where rituals were held to quell something. And the ruins in the volcano are also mysterious in how did people survive inside there as well.

I'm not certain where the region is in particular as the Archipelago isnt truly based on a real world region but i feel could be near Kalos and Paldea and Galar far off the coast hidden away or on the otherhand it could be near alola found in what would be the SEA based area

I personally think the Lental region is Xerneas' birthplace due to its assumed connections with the Illumina Phenomenon in that it not only gives others its powers, but also it can be found in an orb of the energy which when prodded by the Illumina Orbs shows up in the ruins.

Wishiwashi is a very odd one of the group, as it only gains the Illumina phenomenon when in schooling form which means the power shared by Xerneas is only unlocked properly when they are all working together, but the extended life is still there due to them having been given some energy.
