Interesting new paper on low-frequency variability in the Pacific. Aerosol-induced Northern Hemisphere dimming/brightening appears the main driver (Panel D). Rather uniform linear changes from GHGs as expected (Panel B). The remainder (Panel F) resembles the IPO (Interdecadal Pacific oscillation).

Europe as a whole has warmed about 2.5°C already. And the trend is only going to continue up. Unless we drastically cut our carbon emissions #ESOTC2024 #C3S
