I’m still annoyed by the amount of behind-the-scenes sleuthing I had to do to locate the source of a Carl Sagan manuscript record in our catalog. If it had at least said the data was from an LC online exhibit, someone would be able to find it.

Primo Central Discovery Index is an aggregation of the most useless, sloppy, and incomplete metadata available. There are records that say something like “Women and the law” without a citation or any other information. How is this helpful???

Some sales started in October 😩 Part of it is that Thanksgiving falls really close to the beginning of November this year, causing a shorter holiday shopping season—not that they plan to stop in future years when this isn’t the case
