I'm so glad! I'm also still figuring myself out in .y late 30s, in so many ways. I think it's why I'm drawn to writing (and reading) YA: there's no pretense that the characters know themselves perfectly. In my experience, identity is a life-long discovery process.

Hi Jen, yes! I'd love you to include it. Thank you! She's exploring her sexuality in the book and doesn't quite know what label fits her by the end, but she's thinking along the ace spectrum. Based on my own experience :)

Disabled people are 28% of the US population. We will not go away just because you don't want us here or shut up because you don't want to hear us. And only the weakest bullies kick the disabled kids.
