Despite the claims of an Echo chamber here, my timeline (skyline?) on this app is almost entirely apolitical. Its just people enjoy their art, games, etc.
On X its just people throwing shit at each other.. there’s no real “debate” being had, just AI generated pfps saying insane shit to you lol

Bluesky is a PBC (public benefit corporation) with the mission “to develop and drive large-scale adoption of technologies for open and decentralized public conversation.”

I see it as a real accomplishment that BSky and ATProto have managed to finally crack the code of making decentralized, open source based social media actually appealing and usable by the masses and mainstream. It's a HUGE step in the right direction and should be celebrated
