Hi, @pghguild.com officer here! We understand a lot of our supporters feel this way, so we're asking that people include a clear message to the Blocks when they resubscribe to the PG saying that it is only because of us + our win that you are doing so. actionnetwork.org/letters/subs...

I was so pleasantly surprised when I visited Cincinnati as somebody who knew nothing about it. Stayed in Covington and walked across that bridge, actually.

This comes on the heels of last week's 3rd Circuit court of appeals order that affirms the National Labor Relations Board order that says that the Post-Gazette must reinstate our contract that they illegally ripped up over five years ago.

This is how rape culture and a patriarchy works. The loudest, most extroverted men get deference from the ones who prefer to avoid conflict and want to stay in the good graces of the bully. And the consequence is whatever the bullies want to do to women, it’s allowed through complicit silence.

I hope men understand that it is very very rare for anyone who is not a woman’s lover, close friend, or relative to stand up for her when another man insults her in a room of other men. It is incredibly unusual. They may not join in the bullying, but they’re unwilling to step in to stop it.
