Author/illustrator (MacGregor House Publishing), in our little gallery in Vermont which features my husband's paintings. I love shelter animals and pizza in that order. Rabid Democrat. Have faith all Blueskies out there! I don't answer DM's.
Donovan and Yoki (dear pets from years past) want to know where's the turkey? Still my fave picture of these rascals. Yoki was great at swiping meat and knocking some off the counter for her buddy. Happy Thanksgiving to all of you on Bluesky!

Happy Halloween Bluesky friends! Across the street, oldest commercial building in Vermont, it held 3 little shops.

Ugh. Just went through so much hassle with Amazon or KDP...can't finish the Kindle version of my latest book...paperback will be available tomorrow but Amazon has plunged me into OTP reauthorization hell. Guess it's time to move on. I've been with them since Createspace. Bezos has enough $ already.

Time for a fun post...this is Scout, one of three rescues that have taken over our house. Scout pretty much lives in the gallery and her special spot is to curl up behind the display of my books. The official guardian of MacGregor House Publishing. Guess she likes fantasy.

Just some flowers for all of you.

Update on Emmett. Here's the easy ramp we built for our couch potato. Nothing on line was wide enough or sturdy. Hundreds of flimsy or squishy foam ones, no good for a 'big' dog who still wobbles. Our's is plywood, low slant, 1/3 third on a hinge - push under the seat cushion. Make your own.
Cheers.

Taking a break from the TACO king to make a Bee Condo in our backyard.

Emmett back on track, just a tad wobbly, but then who isn't?

Haven't been posting much lately because I'm nursing our 13 year old dog Emmett who pinched a disc, requires picking him up and helping him walk, giving meds etc but he's coming along! 40 lbs of dog! Woof! He's a young pup in this pic.

Just found out my sister in law's YA fantasy 'The Legend of Now' got 2nd place at Bookfest 2025. I did the illustrations. Cheers. I know, I know it's not the Pulitzer but hey good news is good news, right?

Just some fireworks to celebrate Cory Booker's victory!

Making signs for April 5th! Foam core/old insulation works really well, light weight and you can put it on a pole to raise it high. Make them colorful and outrageous so the media will pick them out of the crowd! Get busy all you artists out there! Artists and thinkers are who they fear the most!
