I made the mistake of listening to the last hour of the audiobook while on a flight. 😭

As I understand it, sharia in the slaughter process has also contributed positively to animal welfare. i.e. it's a requirement that the animals are not distressed

It most certainly was not inevitable. Husband had been testing negative for a couple of days now (and has been released from bedroom isolation) and neither myself or my son have caught it. 🎉

We are currently fighting a war with suspected rats in our basement and I have developed a grudging respect for the critters.
They have disappeared one of the snap traps we had setup. Just, gone.
Then they broke into a bait station. I have trouble opening it WITH the tool provided.
