my idea was to find a ready-built NAS to run SSDs in raid 5 or 6, for backups but also for running some low demand VMs (for jellyfin, or a web server, or maaaybe even something with OBS to run my own silly little local pirate tv station lol)

ideally i wanted to have a nas as a backup + home media server solution, something not too noisy since i live in a studio apartment
might be asking for too much, but ideally i would just have a bunch of somewhat fast network storage that isn't only for backups
