I think this is what happened to the humans in Wall-E.

The most reliable way was always to request permission on a button click event, I think. Maybe there’s some way to make it creative somehow, “tap here to wake up the sleepy blobs!”, play some scrolling floaty zZzZ’s above them before that. :D

It’s been a while I did any JS web dev but back in the day you always had to invoke permissions first before things like audio, gyroscope, camera etc. were granted on mobile Safari. With some luck that’s the only issue and all the existing code works fine. :)

Love the concept! It doesn’t seem to be reading the gyroscope on my iPhone though (Safari iOS) so the blobs just sit there. :(

The number of games where the protagonist eats old rancid food without breaking a sweat is insulting. I eat a piece of meat that's been left a few hours out too long and my tummy hurts and I don't even want to move; I like the violent vomiting in Abiotic Factor when players get sick. :)

Hearing the dog snoring in the background put a smile on my face (I assume it's the dog at least), keeping the dev vlogs real. :)

Some 21:9 & 32:9 games allow the HUD to be limited to 16:9 or smaller (e.g. with a slider/setting), so that players don't need to glance too far. I think it's the best of both worlds.
