If you're looking to leave Chrome fully behind, I've been really happy with Brave, which is Chromium based - switching over from Chrome was very easy. Haven't noticed any issues with streaming services or the like, and the extensions I use haved pretty much worked as-is.

In our classics reading circle we read books that have been hugely influential. One thing I've noticed is that they often have stupid shit around the one key idea that pushed things forward. And sometimes they've been so fruitful that reading the original work feels very pedestrian. Basic and weak.

I may have been slightly exaggerating for effect 😃 for me, the issue is that sometimes characters seem to know all the faction and troop type names and use them as-is, regardless of whether it makes sense in-world.

Yeah, I think the whole masculinity categorisation thing has taken the literature somewhat in the wrong direction. Theories like hegemonic/hybrid/geek masculinity absolutely have value, but we also need a lot more research on how actual people relate to these categories and what they represent.

I'm not saying this type of person is not valued in some geek and game cultures and communities, but we absolutely need to contextualise a lot more.
