This would be a good time to risk loseing the filabuster in a feburary shutdown battle. The house will be razor sharp and Trump might be in the 30s in approval next year. Some bills would be tough to pass this house.

Donald Trump is the most pro billionaire and pro-white collar crime leader of the past 100 years. I would sincerely, ask what can Trump do that would make him lose his populist stance.

So many leftist pundits will give more beneft of the doubt to Trump than the median democrat. This is really dumb now seeing how pro billionaire Trump has been this term.

It was bad for dems last year, but the media and Trump convinced a lot of people that beating inflation was not wages beating prices but full blown deflation.

I think people use this argument agaisnt you because they tried to move to the right on trans and immigration issues to neutralize attacks where they thought polling was weaker and this did not work at all. Starmer is more unpopular than any American president in history.

Marc, good on you for mentioning this, but if you have any political contacts, politicians you know, try and get them to complain publically. I think Dems need to be publicly mad at bad coverage to get the media environment more in their favor.
