Chapter Text Golden Cheese followed White Lily through the castle, flying overhead, gaze turned upward to see the glimmering floral and silver chandeliers overhead. There were flower pots frothing with flowers high up on the walls, illuminated by sconces of flickering white flame set into melted down silverware. It was easy to forget, sometimes, that the faerie kingdom had been constructed largely out of things dropped from the Witches' table. Including the cookie that had been dropped from it, falling from the dough, falling back to Earthbread to be reborn, to undo the evils that the rest of her would bring to the world.

Chapter 7: Back to Where it all Began Summary: White Lily reunites with her faeries, and Golden Cheese gets to see her not as a conquerer but as a ruler. Notes: (See the end of the chapter for notes.) Chapter Text Dawn brought with it the delightful scent of cheese and the sight of golden hair and golden feathers in White Lily's face. At some point during the night, Golden Cheese must have wrapped around White Lily, and White Lily must have reciprocated, snuggling into her much as she did with Silent Salt, much as she had done with Golden Cheese so very long ago. Before she could stop herself, White Lily brushed her lips over Golden Cheese's forelock where a tiny triangle was hidden, her Light of Abundance. Golden Cheese stirred in her arms, yet White Lily found herself unable to pull away, unable to let go of her. Their legs, she discovered now, were tangled together, Golden Cheese's thigh between White Lily's legs. It would be so easy to grind down on it, to close what little distance was there.

Chapter 5: Taking Flight Summary: Golden Cheese gives White Lily a lesson in flying (and maybe a little falling). Chapter Text The rustle of feathers woke White Lily from her slumber, once more wrapped in Silent Salt's embrace. In the end, after Golden Cheese had sought her bed, White Lily had lain awake long into the night, deciding to forego intimate activities with Silent Salt when she had no faith in keeping herself quiet after the intimate preening. He had agreed, not wanting to ruin their preening job, and thus White Lily had been visited by erotic dreams of being sandwiched between the pair, the taste of salt and cheese one that she was desperate to try upon waking. Chapter 3: Little Talks Summary: A sleep-deprived Golden Cheese and White Lily have a chat about Beasts and feelings. Chapter Text White Lily wasn't sure if she'd ever get used to the feeling of waking up in her other half's arms. It made her soul jam hum, connecting with his, whenever their dough touched. It was a lot more intense of a feeling during sex, yes, but even just sleeping curled in his embrace was enough.
