A funky #GlenScotia with a delicious port finish. Although unpeated, it has a very tasty earthy note on the (my) palate.

Exploring something new tonight, a dram from the very young #Bonnington distillery. Based in Leith, #Edinburgh, they started production in 2020. This one was matured in virgin oak. Sweet with intense rye aroma, it could be a bourbon whiskey.

Having a special dram with my son, who turned 30 last week. This 1995 #Glendronach (cask 543) was distilled on the exact same day he was born. 🥃❤️

It's a pity Lochranza distillery will stop producing peated whisky. But there's an excellent alternative on the island from Lagg Distillery. This BYO (£70) is fabulous 🥃❤️
