haven't played it but something about the gameplay I've seen just looks off. I also hate how the player character looks. The art style also looks way toned down which makes all that flashing the studio's known for just look bad to me.

Establishment democrats are just broken system dogmatists at this point. They're too loyal to systems and culture that has shit the bed and refuse to accept that. They're too afraid of mega donors and imaginary centrists to do anything meaningful at scale.

I'm glad for it because I'm a big Vampire the Masquerade guy and Anne Rice is the main inspiration for the Toreador clan who are one of the main vampires in the game. So people have an easy way to see what they're like

I think it's less the presence of the monsters and more there's just no mood. Like the og Backrooms has a very striking and liminal mood too it. It's uncanny and surreal and none of the additions to it have that imo.

I know mainstream reviews tend to be bad but mainstream reviews in basically anything are pretty bad. It's the publisher not the journalists fault
