As a Jersey City resident, Brooklyn is harder for me to get to. Eater doesn't do a JC heatmap map, but if it did, it would include the new Daily Provisions, Chinese spot 62 Secret Kitchen, Honduran bar Perquin, and cafe by Yemeni M by Mokafe.
