My daughter is the only girl out of three.
And my granddaughter, whose birthday is tomorrow (and the day before my own), is the only girl out of four.

Just a pattern I noticed. 🤍

Two sisters I fostered last autumn for Cat Man Jules (Sheffield) reached a big milestone this week. Mad Mackerel (tabby) and Growly Batface (calico) arrived here nervous and watchful. They’re now confident and settled; they have just been spayed and are now ready to move on to their forever homes. 🤍

I know we’ve only just taken down the tinsel, and I’m absolutely refusing to acknowledge the chocolate eggs already eyeing us up in the supermarket, but is it too early to mention Valentine’s Day? 🤍
