Mashed potatoes are a comfort food in my family. They're as much a part of Thanksgiving dinner as turkey is. We argue over cranberry sauce (I'm 100% FOR it) but we all agree on mashed potatoes. But if you want just turkey and pumpkin pie, you do you! 😄
