But we're not talking about survival, for which hope is pretty essential, we're talking about actual liberation movements, for which things need to get pretty bad before they really get going.

I suppose we're well beyond those innocent days when the writers of a major sitcom like "All In The Family" could snicker to themselves as they wrote in a Christian minister called Reverend Felcher. Pre-Internet, few were any the wiser. (Cf. landlord Arnold Wanker in "Mork and Mindy.")

Not just undocumented. Even Green Card holders have oppressive limits on government benefits they're allowed to even attempt to claim. They, too, pay taxes & aren't allowed to vote. "No taxation without representation" doesn't seem to be quite the clarion call to revolution Americans pretend it is.

You don't need to turn on GPS. As long as your phone is on they can pinpoint exactly where you are, log everything you do on your device, and listen to everything you say. We are lambs to the slaughter.

It's amazing that people get angry about traffic cameras when they're voluntarily carrying around a snitch in their pockets that continually gives precise information of their actual whereabouts & listens to all they say! The Police State's been here for a while, and it's about to be leveraged.
